repeaterDS - v1.2, plus beta testers needed for new project

repeaterDS version 1.2 is now available for download.

New features include:

* Sync to Midi support using Midi-Wifi
* Press and hold the [LEFT] directional pad to randomize the sample.

It’s been a while since I coded this new version.  There may be other improvements that I forgot to mention.  Was there a ‘drift mode’ in version 1.0?  If not, there is now!  See the top-screen menu for options.

Also…

Beta testers needed for new DS application

My new DS music application is ready for testing.  If anyone is interested in beta testing, please contact me through comments or in the general news section of the forum.

Thanks,
- Bret

Heck yeah, I’d love to beta the new release.

Love the changes, Bret! How have you found sync with DSMI, by the way? How is it working for you? (off to try it myself…)

    Hi,

I’d be glap to beta test your app (and to talk about DS audio dev…). By the way, I mentioned both GlitchDS & RepeaterDS at the latest Dorkbot New York meeting :).

I don’t see my first comment here anymore so I’ll just reiterate that I’m interested in helping out. GlitchDS has been a heckuva fun time so far so I’m got high hopes.

    Fabulous work.
I’d be happy to beta test too, I have an R4 and an M3 Lite to work with.

I was wondering, what does drift mode do? I don’t seem to notice a difference with it on or off.

@n/a: Drift mode slowly and randomly offsets a recorded motion (which effects sample playback position and repeat speed). You might not hear anything drastic at first, but try recording a motion and turn on drift mode. Keep listening. After about 5 to 10 seconds you should start hearing the playback subtly change.
